Some of the most painful personal and family struggles for LGBT youth are faith-based. The good news is that more and more faith traditions are expanding their understanding of sexual orientation and gender identity. Many are doing the loving work of becoming more inclusive, and families of faith are finding an easier journey in embracing both their LGBT loved ones and their cherished faith tradition. Likewise, LGBT youth of faith are finding more often that they have a home in the faith community of their choice.
